Today's list brings us to the end of the "primary sources" of my Tolkien collection; that is to say, all the works produced by Tolkien himself. I should at this point mention my praise and appreciation for Christopher Tolkien, whose tireless work, not only as an executor of his father's estate, but also as an editor and critic of great skill, persistence, and insight for most of the works published posthumously, has greatly added to the depth and breadth of enjoyment of the Tolkien fan. And we seem far from the end. Rumors that publications of Tolkien's own verse translation of Beowulf are rumbling around.

And we are far from the end of my Tolkien books, as well. We still have sections on Tolkien Art, Criticism, Maps and Guides, Biography, Theology and Philosophy, and Parodies to consider and list.

The Road goes ever, ever on...

Book Count: 1655.
